State of the City is the City of Houston Mayor’s signature event where the vision city’s future is announced. The speech focusing on Houston’s accomplishments and goals is given annually to an audience of business and community leaders.
The State of the City 2022 address will be held in-person at the Hilton Americas-Houston Hotel on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
At the request of Mayor Sylvester Turner, Houston First Corporation is hosting this year’s State of the City address. The co-chairs of the coordinating committee for the 2022 State of the City are Energy Solutions and Business Services Vice President Elizabeth Gonzalez Brock, The Clifford Group President Cindy Clifford, and CenterPoint Energy.
Anyone who purchases an event ticket can attend this year’s State of the City. More details coming soon.
GHP membership will not give you access to the event nor complimentary tickets to State of the City.
This year’s State of the City will be held in-person, however the HTV team will broadcast live on HTV’s channel and the Mayor’s Facebook platform. Check the City of Houston HTV website for more information.
